Turun Riichi-mahjong seura Nagashi ry järjestää “Under the Sea 2024” -turnauksen 12.10. - 13.10. Turku-salissa

Turnauksessa pelataan kahdeksan hanchania kahden päivän aikana. Jokaisen hanchanin aikaraja on 75 minuuttia. Turnaus pelataan EMA-sääntöjä käyttäen ja lopputilastot vaikuttavat Suomen laajuisiin MFRS-sijoituksiin. Uusimmat EMA-säännöt (1.4.2016) löydät täältä.

Turnauksen ajankohta on 12.10. - 13.10.2024 ja paikkana Turku-sali, joka sijaitsee Turun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan kanslian yläpuolella osoitteessa Rehtorinpellonkatu 4 A, 2. krs, 20500 Turku. Turku-sali on päihteetön alue.

Turnausmaksu on 15€ Nagashi ry:n jäsenille ja 20€ ei-jäsenille. Nagashin jäseneksi voi myös liittyä 3€:n hintaan, jolloin jäsenyyden ja turnausmaksun suuruus on siis yhteensä 18€. Jäsenyys on voimassa vuoden 2025 loppuun saakka. Jäseneksi voi liittyä asuinpaikkakunnasta riippumatta.
Turnausmaksun ja jäsenmaksun voit maksaa tilisiirtona Nagashin pankkitilille tai paikan päällä käteisenä tai kortilla. Tilisiirrolla maksetut turnausmaksut tulee olla suoritettuna 5.10.2024 mennessä. Muussa tapauksessa tilisiirrosta on pystyttävä näyttämään tosite paikan päällä.

Ilmoittautuminen on käynnissä ja päättyy 5.10.2024.
Paikkoja turnauksessa on yhteensä 32:lle pelaajalle.

Ruokailu + majoitus

Pelipaikka sijaitsee Kupittaan rautatieaseman läheisyydessä yliopiston kampuksen keskiössä, joten linja-autoyhteydet ovat hyvät, sekä alueella on hyvä määrä eri majoitusvaihtoehtoja (esim. Omena-hotelli, Hese-hotelli.)
Ihan pelipaikan vieressä on myös mm. opiskelijaravintola Assarin Ullakko sekä Hesburger, joissa voi käydä ruokatauon aikana.
Lauantai-iltaa voi viettää osallistujien kanssa ravintola Proffan Kellarissa. Ravintolassa on A-oikeudet ja se sijaitsee aivan pelipaikan vieressä.

Under the Sea 2024

Turku Riichi-mahjong club Nagashi ry will organize “Under the Sea 2024” tounament on 12. - 13.10. in Turku-sali. During the two days eight hachans will be played.
The time limit for each hanchan is 90 minutes. The tournament is played using EMA rules and the results will affect the National MFRS rankings. You can find the latest EMA rules (April 1, 2016) here.

The tournament will be held on the 12th and 13th of October. The tournament will take place in Turku-sali, which is located above the office of the student union of the University of Turku at Rehtorinpellonkatu 4 A, 2nd floor, 20500 Turku. The venue is non-alcoholic.

The tournament fee is €15 for Nagashi ry members and €20 for non-members. You can also become a member of Nagashi for €3, in which case the amount of membership + tournament fee is €18 in total. The membership is valid until the end of 2025. You can become a member regardless of your place of residence. The tournament and the membership fee can be paid by bank transfer or in cash or credit card at the beginning of the event. Tournament fees paid by bank transfer must be completed by October 5th, 2024. Otherwise, you must be able to show a receipt for the bank transfer on the spot.

Meals + accommodation

Tournament venue is located near the center of Turku and the Kupittaa train station in the center of the university campus, so bus connections are good, and there are a good number of different accommodation options in the area (e.g. Omena hotel, Hese hotel).
There is a student restaurant Assarin Ullakko and Hesburger close by, which can be visited during the lunch and dinner breaks.
For Saturday evening, participants can spend the evening in the restaurant Proffan Kellari. The restaurant serves alcohol and is located right next to the Tournament Venue.
